The NYC Sierra Club Photography Committee is a sub-group of the New York City Sierra Club Group. We bring together nature photographers and enthusiasts who support the Sierra Club’s environmental goals. We welcome visitors to our monthly meetings so they can meet others who share their love of nature photography and the environment. Membership in the national Sierra Club entitles one to continue to participate in Photography Committee activities. To receive a copy of our Photo Committee newsletter and more information about our meeting schedule, speakers and outings please contact us.
Our meetings are held at The Metropolitan Opera Guild Learning Center, on the 6th floor of the Samuel B. and David Rose Building at Lincoln Center. The address is 70 Lincoln Center Plaza, located on the north side of West 65th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam, closer to Amsterdam. From the street level, take the elevator or escalator up one level and proceed through the revolving doors into the lobby of the Rose Building to get the elevator up to the 6th floor. Suggested donation: $7.00
Lincoln Center is well served by public transportation—Subway: the #1 Local train stops at 66th Street/Lincoln Center Station; Buses: M5, M7, M10, M66, and M104 all stop within one block of Lincoln Center.
