Welcome to the Sierra Club NYC Group’s website. This is a growing site of information and resources for Environmental Activists and those interested in the Environment in New York City. By growing, we mean that NYC activists and others will be providing additional information and features on this site. For example, activists will provide information on the various issues about which we are active. You can participate as well: As an example,  if you have a favorite green restaurant or green service establishment, you can write a review and submit it to the webmaster for publication in our GreeNYC section.

As we grow, we hope you will find useful information and enjoy the features that already populate this site.

If you wish to register on the site, the process is simple: Scroll down till you see the word Register and click on it. Enter a Username and your email address in the fields on the registration form. You will be sent a password.

Once you have registered, you can be promoted to several different positions. However, only Sierra Club members can be promoted and an Administrator makes the final decisions on promotions, which are reported to the ExCom.
